The Magic Chest Cosplay Competition is a competitive event with experienced judges to score your outfit. Participants who are under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult and all participants are required to follow our guidelines and code of conduct or you'll be disqualified.

A special guest appearance will commerce during and after our cosplay competition to take pictures. The special guest will be dressed as one of the most beloved character in the #1 media franchise in the world!

Judging Criteria & Scoring
A transparent scoring system ensures fairness with a total of 100 points. Here's a commonly used breakdown:
Creativity & Originality // 25 Points
Innovative interpretation or unique elements added to the costume.
Essence of Character // 25 Points
Evaluates how well the participant captures the personality, mannerisms, and spirit of the character through their performance, presence, and overall portrayal.
Wigs & Makeup // 20 Points
Assesses the accuracy, creativity, and execution of wig styling and makeup in bringing the character to life.
Stage Presence // 20 Points
Confidence, charisma, and engagement during performance.
Audience Impact // 10 Points
Reaction and engagement from the audience.

What Are The Dates & Start Time?
Magic Chest's first-ever Cosplay Competition will commerce on June 14th at 12:00PM PST.
What Is The Entry Fee?
It's 100% free! And yes, there's no strings attached. We just want every one to have fun!
What If I Changed My Mind To Dress Up As Another Character?
You are welcome to change to whichever character you want to dress up as, as long as you followed our guidelines and rules.
What Kind Of Characters Can I Dress Up As?
Our event is called AnimeFest, so we love for you to dress up as an anime character. However, that's just our recommendation and you can dress up to be whoever you'd like! We just want you to have fun!
What If I Am Unable To Attend After I Register?
We know sometimes life can get in the way, but if you seriously can't attend after you have registered, please do let us know so we can adjust our plans accordingly.
